I'm turning 22 soon! I must say this year has been super fast x.x I'm leaving for Japan tomorrow already, but I luckily got to have a small birthday party/dinner with my family yesterday and also got some presents from some of my friends!

Issey Miyaki Florale perfume

Love this perfume! I've not been so fond of the other Issey Miyake for women as I thought they smelled exactly like the ones for men ._. But this one (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Nicki Minaj mac lipstick and Two Faced pink lipstick.

 I love the design of the Two Faced lipstick! Super girly and cute ;D

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2

Lovely colors! I'm missing some natural pretty eyeshadows in a smaller palette than my 88 coastal scents. So this palette is perfect!

From my family I mostly got cash presents and in yen as well! Awesome hehe.. And my sweet sister and cousin bought me another mac lipstick and a huge lolipop container full of small lollipops lol! Naaw I'm gonna miss them so much （；へ：）

And as mentioned.. It's already tomorrow I'm leaving for Japan! I'm curious how my 22nd year will turn out. I feel a bit old already when thinking I'll be 22 soon and I don't feel like I've achieved what I wanted XD but hopefully I'll still have enough time in the future!

It's not so long ago that I went to Japan the last time, but it still feels like ages ago! I'm sure this time will be totally different! I have a few goals for this time, especially when looking at my photos from last year in Japan.. So.. with my new camera I hope to improve my photography skills in Japan! Last time was really inspiring, so I hope I'll have the same passion for photography as last time.

And wow I'm rambling a lot haha! But I have sooo many mixed feelings about going to Japan this time! Luckily, I'll be traveling with my friend Maria who shares most of my feelings, though she might be a bit more positive than me (who is really paranoid lol)

And I'll end it all with a photo from Japan last year to lighten this post up a bit haha

「Midsummer Flower & Night」 PHOTOSHOOT | New Layout

Ego spam of d00m is coming up! (*~▽~)

The amazing photographer of this double shoot is Silas Staal.

We were super ambitious and did 2 shoots in one day! 

I was a bit nervous since 'self-camming' and modeling in front of photographer is two whole different things lol.. A bit awkward in the beginning since striking ridiculous cliché modeling poses feels really... ridiculous (^～^;)ゞ I already warned Silas that I might only have 5 poses and the same face all the way haha (ñ_ñ) But I guess everything turned out fine in the end and luckily I didn't get too nervous or awkward! Working with Silas was a lot of fun!

***First shoot***

The first shoot was a summer inspired shoot. If you noticed (or follow my blog lol) I used the hair accesory I made for the Vietnamese fashion show/catwalk (◕‿◕✿)

***Second shoot***

After the first shoot we went home and got ready for a night shoot. This was all kinda.. random in case of my styling. Coincidently Silas had a purple cosplay wig, and I thought it would be fun to use, and then I wrapped a necklace around and it became a bit bohemian style (●´艸`) Yes, now you know my secret XD

 And that was it! Well just so you know I didn't entirely spam you, there was more than 100 photos from this set lol... 

It was a super fun experience and both me and Silas were so hyped that we already did another shoot last Tuesday haha! I'll post them of course when they're ready..

***New Layout***

And as you might have noticed I changed my layout! I like this A LOT more than the old.. Looks more pro now haha! And the photo is of course taken by Silas, banner edited by me.

But I seriously need a new blog title and name/address! I'm just really uncreative with names and titles ugh... but anything must be better than the current one o(-_-;*)

That was all! There's not long before Japan, but I must admit my life currently revolving around photoshoots (both as photographer and model) isn't too bad (*´艸`*)

MAC makeup | Lightroom | Photoshoot Teaser

My family just came home from a trip to America, and they bought me some stuff yay! (some per request lol)

Embarrassingly this is actually my ever first MAC makeup! (I'm so way behind) So I'm pretty excited! A lot of my friends are mac fans and users so I've been considering getting some for a long time. But I'm glad I finally got some!

 Blush: Solar Ray

Lipstick: Please Me & Russian Red

And I asked my sister to get me this Maybelline master precise eyeliner as well. I've always been using either liquid, gel or coal liner, but after trying this (and seeing a lot of the gals using it hehe) I tried it and fell in love with the easiness of applying this product! It dries fast and stays on really nicely!

Here I'm wearing the Maybelline eyeliner, Solar Ray blush (mac) and Please Me lipstick (mac)

Closeup: I really love this color already!! It's a matte natural pink color and stays on all day without staining and needing to be reapplied too often (I only reapplied once and after drinking and eating it was still nice and vivid). It doesn't dry out your lips either. 5 stars from here haha!! Totally love this!

Adobe Lightroom 4

It's no secret I've been using Photoshop for editing my pictures XD However all my photographer friends are using Lightroom and recommended my trying it instead since everything is easier.. So.. I finally tried!! And I'm already in love!! It's SO much easier and you can edit your photos WAY faster! What did I waster my time with in photoshop all these.. years!? Wow I feel like I just discovered the evolution in editing haha! (so slow)

SO I tried editing a photo from the Queen of Hearts makeup set I did. I really like the result hehe and it was really much easier to do than in photoshop!

And I mentioned last time I was going to do a small photoshoot right?? Well..

「Queen of Hearts」 MAKEUP SHOOT

Inspired by QUEEN OF HEARTS I decided to make a small makeup shoot.

The outcome wasn't as good as I had hoped since I suddenly couldn't find some of my makeup brushes and other tools.. So it's a bit toned down and 'casual' interpretation.

And here's the photospam of me... (*´_ゝ｀) Enjoy!

I was actually planning to have red eyes for the look. My red contacts were out of date though so I just used my blue and edited them. But somehow I kinda liked the blue better in the end, so I decided to keep them blue. Only kept the red eyes for the second last photo since I liked the red theme in that photo.

I added a tint of gold to the lips but I guess it's only kinda visible in the last picture!

And I made the lashes out of 3 other lashes that I just stacked together “ヽ(´▽｀)ノ” (black, gold and red though the red disappeared in the makeup...)

I'm going to a real photoshoot this Sunday with a friend who's a super talented photographer! He's awesome so I'm looking much forward to it! 

Taking pictures of yourself is just kinda awkward and bothersome haha!

Blue'n'Gold mask [Makeup]

"Tribe Gyaru"

That's actually the first thing that came to mind when I finished this..  Afterwards it reminded me a bit of Disney Atlantis inspired as well due to the colors and the hair. My sister thought I looked like a fantasy character lol. Well I didn't know what to name this so it just became a neutral title (^^ゞ

Oh well, I actually I didn't have any clear idea of the whole thing when I started this. Well I got the outline of the idea in the middle of the night. Something with blue lace and silver hair. It's difficult to keep my ideas if I don't execute them immediately, like that flick of inspiration that strucks you, but it will be gone shortly after unless you grab it right away. It's kinda difficult to do it in the middle of the night though + no light, and I don't really have a photo studio I can use (´Ａ｀。)

So it turned into this the following noon. I'm pretty sure this wasn't exactly what I had in mind but oh well ╮(─▽─)╭

Here's a close up without hair in the way XD

 And without the "angel bite piercings" since I didn't add them in the beginning. I was actually really unsure where to place all the 'piercings' and just went a bit crazy I guess (#｀ε´#ゞ

 And that's pretty much what I have to say! I don't know if you can see the difference in quality in the photos from the former post and this one compared to before?

 

Well I guess it's easier for myself to tell since I work with the photos XD But my new camera makes it sooo much easier to camwhore as well muhaha! *gets shot* ―(T_T)→

And yes, I changed my watermark-thing (again). I'm never gonna be satisfied （；¬＿¬)
