This will mainly be some food/snack porn picture spam! (just doesn't sound right)

I received my parcel that I sent from Japan over 2 months ago the other day. It contained mostly a lot of snacks I bought! But of course i didn't expect it to take over 2 months.. luckily I mostly bought dried snacks only!!

A lot of stuff ne?? It almost felt like a time travel looking at all the stuff again ô.ô As you can see, there's also two perfumes, hair dye, nails and face masks.

Do you see the orange box with the cup? It's a package for making cup-muffins in the microwave! I found it at a 100yen shop and thought it was really funny! So I bought it to try it out, but I still haven't tried it yet.. You just need to put an egg in, mix it and put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Sounds kinda weird but I'm still kinda excited to try it haha!

I love how their snacks usually have a cute design! It makes you happy by just looking at it (*≧▽≦)

I bought this at the airport. It's REALLY sweet though, but I'm sure it goes well with some tea!

Oh and I went to my cousin's 14-year-old birthday the other weekend, and she made this amazing rainbow cake!! Waah it was super awesome!! We were all super amazed and surprised when she cut the cake haha

 RED AVOCADO

I was really excited when I saw my mom had bought a red avocado!! I've seen partially brownish/red avocados but never a whole red one!! (I excited by the most weird stuff sorry XD)

Jeongie called it a Love-avocado lol. I found that really funny! I just ate it today so i hope something special will happen *(*´∀｀*)☆

Ok sorry for the random post haha! But since i haven't blogged for a while and it's the 29th of February (special day waaah), I felt like I needed to (゜▽゜;)

Well my life is still only about school, J-dramas and workout.. not very interesting..

But I'm thinking I'll make a list of my top 10 favorite Japanese actors in next post.. just.. because (•ิ_•ิ)

 So lately I've been to some, I'd say, fancy restaurants ｏ口(・∀・ )

As Tokyo is full of skyscrapers, they have a LOT of nice restaurants on the top floors which gives you an amazing view.

I went to a restaurant in Shinjuku Nomura Buliding on the 50th floor. But unfortunately that day, I didn't bring my camera (stupid!!ヘ(><#)ノ). I did get some pictures on my crappy Iphone though, but something is wrong with the synchronization, so I can't even transfer them (┳Д┳)  

 But out of the two restaurants I went to, that one was definitely the best!! And I mean.. 50th floor?!

The pictures are from Manhattan Table in Shinjuku Washington Hotel (25th floor).

 The restaurants are as expected a bit pricey but is definitely a nice experience!

 There are tables placed along the windows so you can sit and gaze at the view while enjoying a nice dinner (●´∀｀●)

On the way home I went past the LOVE statue again, this time pimped up with xmas illumination.

Rainy days in Tokyo

 Yesterday I met with a friend and we went to Shibuya and Harajuku so I could do some xmas shopping. Sadly it was raining and we were both stupid and forgot umbrellas lol! Nothing a 100yen shop can't fix though! We were both pretty cheap and didn't wanna buy an umbrella for 500yen which they cost on the street on rainy days, so we ran to the closest 100yen shop to fix ourselves a nice 200yen umbrella lololol ๏[-ิ_•ิ]๏

There's a nice Art Gallery in Harajuku called DESIGN FESTA GALLERY. It's really a visit worth if you go to Harajuku! I don't have any pictures myself, but visit their website and check it out!

It really has the bit crazy Harajukuish atmosphere and they have a café and bar which is really nice! The building and all the walls at the place is all covered with art.

Right next to the gallery is an Okonomiyaki restaurant which is part of the gallery as well. I went there yesterday for dinner ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ﾉ

 

They have all-you-can-eat okonomiyaki as well, but me and my friend weren't THAT hungry though as we wanted to save some space for Harajuku crepe later as well lol.

The restaurant, like the rest of the place, is all covered by art. It gives a really nice and artsy atmosphere.

 You get the okonomiyaki ingredients in a bowl that you have to mix yourself ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ

And then you put it on the big frying plate and shape it into a nice okonomiyaki pancake ヽ(^。^)丿

It was super delicious and fun to make yourself too even though my friend that claimed he knew how to make it kinda fucked up the the second one we ordered lol! Oh yeah and the restaurant even had an English menu with directions on how to make it! Really nice!

The end of Summer

I can't believe we're soon at the end of August.. Not much sunshine here :(

I'm busy packing up my stuff so I can move back to my parents - and then of to Japan! It's in less than a month.. I'm not really sure how I feel about.. 3½ months don't sound like much but I still feel unsure about a lot of things. I'm sure things will work out, but I can't help panicking a bit.. I'm stressing too much I know （;≧皿≦）

However Maria told me she will visit in November, which I'm really excited about!! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ We're gonna have soo much fun!

I haven't been doing much this summer.. Half of it was dedicated to summer school, and of course all the sun decided to shine in July -_-; Otherwise I'm trying to hang out with all my friends before I'm leaving. Gonna miss all you guys! ( 　ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

This sunday was 'Asian Sunday' again ＼（○＾ω＾○）／ I told you about it once before. Meeting up with a lot of friends and cook a hell lot of food XD We'll usually meet up at 3-ish in the afternoon and just eat into the night~ This sunday was 'Korean Night', so my friend Minzi and her mom made a lot of Korean dishes (☆▽☆)

And no Korean food without Soju of course σ(ﾟｰ^*) (Korean distilled beverage). Though I really can't drink that stuff.. It's like taking Vodka shots which I'm really not a fan of >.< Later when everyone was kinda drunk and full from food and wine, we decided to go karaoke to keep up the good old Asian tradition.. （★￣∀￣★） I got really drunk somehow.. 

I'm pretty sure Bai Jou (Chinese rice wine - 54% alcohol!?) was the cause... it tastes like sh*t... Anyway I'm never gonna mix soju, white wine, bai jou, whiskey, vodka and fisherman again! Neverrrr (never say neverrr *bieber fever*) （x_x；）

But it was lots of fun even though I felt pretty sick the whole next day...

As you can see the grey faded out kinda fast :( I have to bleach it more for next time. But I still really like this color ^^ Sadly my Asian black-hair DNA is fighting it.. although it has only been one month since I bleached it I already have like 1½ cm black roots! (,,#ﾟДﾟ)/ *whine whine*

Asian Sunday ☆ Asian Party

Sundays are Asian Sundays~

Well at least for me (ﾟ∇^*) ! On some Sundays me and some friends/old colleagues gather together and make a hell lot of food. Since we're all some kind of Asian (viet, thai, korean, chinese, cambodian whatever XD) we decided to call it Asian Sunday.

 Last Friday I had a Girl's Night Out with Jeongie and Maria.

Maria brought this strawberry cream liquor~ ♥ It was sooo good! Tasted like McD's strawberry milkshake!

We went to club NASA where they hosted Azn Con for the first time. A space like club. Pretty neat - but the dance floor was too small, which was a problem for the huge crowd of (small) Asians that gathered there. But it was still a lot of fun ♪♫

I've been quite busy but I'm now finally done with all my exams! Which means.. I finished my 2nd year! Only one more year to go and I can call myself bachelor muha muha Σ（＠д＠；） Well next year will be quite something different as I'm going to Japan for half a year almost. 

This year - no real summer vacation for me either as I chose to take two electives over the summer so I can "relax" in Japan without worrying too much about studying. Gonna be nice! But one hectic summer ugh 。：゜(；´∩｀；)゜：。

I'm going over to Jeongie's pretty soon for some Dinner~ Well, I'm gonna make some teriyaki chicken onigiri to bring ♥

Apple Cinnamon Muffins! 

I made them for the first time yesterday and they were sooo good~! So good that I'll make them again tomorrow haha!

I don't know why, but I just love to look in the oven when I'm baking. I love to watch how the dough is slowly rising haha. People always think I'm silly when I sit in front of the oven looking at whatever I'm baking like a little child watching TV for the first time ^^'

I went shopping for summer dresses with my friend Rose the other day. This was my outfit (∩_∩)

Quick Rundown:

Dress: Tokyo - a random shop in Harajuku/Omotesando district

Belt: H&M

Wedges: YesStyle

Accessories: Accessorize

I choose a light natural makeup for that day to match the light summer dress ^^ 

We walked around the shopping streets but suddenly bumped into a Carnival with loud music and people dancing in colorful costumes. It was kinda nice in the beginning, but the carnival blocked the street, so it was really hard to pass people and go where we wanted. The music was also soo loud and we got really tired of it in the end ._. 

My goal for that day was to buy a summer dress from a certain store and eat some yummy churros, but the dress didn't fit me very well at all and the churros store had run out of churros (WHAT?), so I got really dissapointed and just bought a pancake with nutella and banana (which is always yummy - but it wasn't churros!)

 I came across this gal group Love to Love yesterday. The music isn't that awesome haha but kinda cute and the girls look really cute in the video as well. I like to look at their makeup, hair and style ♥ And it's fun to see all the street gals in the end part of the video all screaming "Daisuki!" and stuff, so Japanese XD

Brunch ☆

This weekend I made brunch with a couple of friends as a "thank you"-gift for the models that participated in the Vietnamese culture event we held in April. We made sooo much food and it was really good! As usual I ate too much and felt really bad afterwards.. so stupid.. ＼（－－）／

But! While writing the project I still had time to go out XD

We started at Jeongie's place and then went to azn con's "Hollywood Night" party-thingie..! It was a lot of fun and a lot of my friends came. Sadly my camera's battery was already dead since I forgot to charge it.. niice.. (=_=;)

Casual relaxed outfit (=w=) I'm waiting for my dad for my dad to pick me up (in 5 min or something). Going home to my parent's to get some REAL food.. yes thank you... haven't eaten properly with all that project writing..

Tried some new lower lashes.. I took me 30 min or something to put them on properly (=o=;) Definitely need more practise!
