Short hair vs. Long hair

I am back from my small hiatus~!

And in HD on top of that woah~ (I got a new camera lol)

I turned in my bachelor thesis earlier this month and finished the oral examination defending the project this Monday! Which means... I'm officially done with school!! Graduation ceremony is not before the end of this month so I've not "officially" graduated yet since I don't have my diploma. Doesn't mean much to me though since I'm D.O.N.E. and on vacation (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) 

On to the topic!

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise for any of my readers anymore that I like to "dress-up" hoho ಥ‿ಥ

I bought a short bob wig a while ago and just received a new long wig I found super cheap on ebay!

So here's me with short and long hair （＾⊆＾）

I like how much a different hairstyle can change your appearance! ಥ‿ಥ

I guess I look more mature with short hair..! I had a bob cut once which was actually kinda nice, but then again I got bored since you can't really style it that much other than... bob hair...

 The long wig is actully meant for Caroline/Yukari cosplay from ParaKiss (*´・ｖ・) This was actually a makeup try-out for the cosplay. I need to re-style and cut the wig though. 

Aaaand it's kinda fun to see myself with dark/black hair again!! 

(the long might be just black enough though lol)

I have been watching a bunch of anime and J-dramas recently.. And starting playing some Otome-games as well just to try.. and I got hooked.. Aaaah forever otakuuu~!!! (ﾉ´ｰ`)ﾉ
I will now go back to being a hikikomori (shut-in) lol...

And that was a lousy post for a comeback haha ((T.T； )
But I promise my next post will be a bit more exciting!! Well at least colorful!!

Yesterday, pretty Maria asked me to help her with her hair and makeup for her school prom. I was really excited as I haven't done makeup on her before (#｀ε´#ゞ (or on other people for a while actually)

Her dress was a pretty dark blue/cyan so I matched it with a metallic blue look. 

I know people say that there are rules like never to match your makeup with this or that. But seriously? I don't give a dime about that. As long as it looks good right? What's beauty if it's trapped behind walls anyway.

We were quite lucky with the weather, so just before Maria left to get ready for the party, we took some snaps outside my house.

The hair is gyaru inspired.. Maria said she thought she looked a bit like a hostess lolol!! She could be working in a kabakura lol!! ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ

Today was snowing quite heavily! I wanted to take some pics but never got the chance to (and didn't dare to go outside lol). However, I still went out shopping with my mom and sister later when it stopped snowing.

5 Tips for Long Bangs

If you like me have long outgrown bangs, and don't really know what to do about it, here are some easy tips for inspiration!

A very common and easy trick!
Use a straightening or curling iron to curl your bangs. Depending on the length, you can sweep it a bit to the side.
 

It's a fast trick and gives a cute/sweet look (∩_∩)

Use some bobby pins to pin your bangs back. If you want more volume like the right picture, tease the inner/lower layers of your bangs before pinning it back, and make sure to brush the outer layer that will cover the inner teased layers so it doesn't look messy.

You can also twist the hair where you are securing the bobbi pins like this guy (miurashoheilololsoz), and you can also easy create more volume without teasing the hair this way as well.

I went to yet another live the other day (isthattheonlythingyouaredoinginJapan!?), but I'm not gonna spam you with too many pictures this time.. since the lightning at the place was pretty bad as well, so most of the pictures turned out quite.... bad.... (so I'm gonna put some camwhore pics up instead lol)

You know the feeling when you REALLY look forward for something and you feel like a little kid again going to Disneyland for the first time?? (or s.t. similar) And you have been soo excited the days up until the day, and then when the day finally comes it's turns out to be the biggest disappoint ever??

Yes yes that was actually a bit like how that day turned out, but I'm not gonna go into details.. I kinda just felt like someone slapped me in the face and make me wake up from my little fantasy dream.. ;_; Though I should have known that nothing is as perfect as you think it to be and happy endings just don't always come true!!

I'm gonna stop my negative emo ramble now sorry. I just needed to let it out a bit haaaaah......

I did my nails the other day~
Not all perfect but I really liked the outcome and the colors together.. and soo kirakira sparkling yay~♫

But I wished I had time to take an outfit picture 'cause for once I really planned my outfit and really liked the outcome >n< Waaah.. what a fail day lol.....

But nothing SHOPPING can't save a bit!! The next day i met up with a friend and we went to 109 to do some shopping♫ I didn't get much since I'm still saving for a bigger shopping with Maria when she comes next week ^o^/

Japan inspires me a lot to be more creative, and I even picked up drawing again. It feels great, I must admit ♥ And I guess the fail day the other day made me realize that I should just stick to doing what I'm 'best' at.. When you don't know what to do, do what you can do~

Tokyo streetsnaps ♪

I'm so lazy with blogging.. ＼（－－）／

And it's not even like I do a lot everyday.. But I usually either come home late or stay up till late, and when I finally go to bed I can't even sleep.. I haven't been able to fall asleep before 3-4am these days and I've been here more than a month already so guess I can't call it jetlag anymore ( 　ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

But to the more fun part! I love walking around the streets in Tokyo since you'll ALWAYS find something interesting. The other day I went to Shibuya, I came across this guy

Had to stop up and ask for a picture haha! He was amazing lol

And yesterday when I went to Harajuku for some shopping there happened to be a lot of people dressed up. The other days I've been there the amount of 'alternative dressed' people varies.. However, while waiting at the station for a friend I got a few snaps.

The other day I met up with some people from Sweden who are studying here in Japan.

They were all sooo nice and we had a lot of fun ♪ And soo funny, me and Rebecca figured we had a lot of things in common.. Sadly she lives in Yokohama which is a bit far away ( 　ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

We all took purikura together as well, but I don't have a scanner so can't show you now..

I was actually supposed to go to Yokohama today, but the weather is really bad this weekend.. So I'd rather go on a day with nice weather!

Oh yeah, and I bought this cool backpack in harajuku yesterday XD

It even has a tail!! Haha I was in a looong dilemma about which color I should choose. You could get it in regular yellow leopard, grey and then this white&pink. Lastly I chose the pink one ♥ I wanted a backpack for a looong time since it's practical. And I noticed that backpacks are really popular in Japan compared to regular cross bags, women purses and so on. 

Aaaand lastly, I dyed my hair XD

I bought the Palty mousse package in Milk Tea.

But got bored of my even haircolor style so i bought a brown haircolor and made some strokes in my hair (￣▽￣) ↓↓↓

I'll take better pictures when i actually style my hair >3> It's kinda the opposite of what I had once now that I look at it.. Old pictures with brown hair and blond stripe

Hmmmmm.... Now when I look at the right picture... I kinda miss my bangs!! Oh well.. let's see.. I'm sure I'll cut them sometime next week and then regret it XD like always..

Gatsby Aqua Silver

An update to show you the outcome of my hair. And I'll review the dye Gatsby Aqua Silver that I used (∩_∩)

I was plain stupid and only bought one package since I thought it was enough for my hair as it usually is. Though this was already for men, so I kinda wondered if they purposely would put less product in as most men have shorter hair.. So of course in the middle of dying I realized I did NOT have enough even though I desperately tried to squeeze out the last drop of product and convince myself that there was enough.. /fail

This is how the package looks like. My hair, as you might have seen from last post, was something between the middle orange and the yellow. And a very little part was white from previous bleaching, and according to the color chart, white would turn a bit violet. 

The dye changes color really fast after putting it into your hair. I left it for approximately 20-30 min as it said on the product and washed it out. No conditioner followed, but it didn't seem dry. I used my own color conditioner though.

Result?

Pretty uneven!! But that was due to my own stupidity, so I don't blame the product XD It kinda changes color in different lightning. Sometimes it looks more greyish while it other times just turn plain LIGHT ASH BROWN like the picture to the right. Oh and you might have noticed the small streaks of violet in the right picture.. It's not THAT violet, but has a bit of violet reflexion, while it's actually just silver.. but in combination with the ash brown.. it just looks weird (。_゜)

But I'm not THAT sad at all! I like it better than the yellow, far more! I really like the color in some of the stripes where it's actually plain GREY. But just annoyed I didn't buy two packages.. However, somehow my old light ash brown extensions matches now haha! 

But I admit it's far from perfect.. And the worst part is, that the yellowness still shines through.. a lot.. which is why I bought THIS → SILVER SHAMPOO! please work

It won't arrive before next week though so I have to be patient..

Fun fact: I look more tanned now XD And if I don't look ganguro, I will definitely do after my one week beach vacation in Turkey in two weeks time ~(=^・・^)

I'm not giving up on EVEN grey hair though! But I'll wait till I go to Japan though, since it's easier and cheaper to get the product there （　´∀｀）

Ok that was it! Btw, your hair doesn't smell like DYED HAIR after using it like other hair dyes tend to do (●＞ｖ＜●）

Blonde Blonde Blonde (monkey)

Soo.. while waiting for my grey/silver hair-dye to arrive, I'm still, temporary blonde |･ω･｀) It's kinda fun though n_n; But still too yellowish for my taste, so looking forward to pick my dye up.. tomorrow! Yay finally!

Anyways, I did I quick rokku-gal hair-up-do for a little picnic meetup.. I tried to twist my hair on the side, but it was kinda difficult and I didn't notice the visible bobby-pin .. fail ;_: And no extensions atm either (yes, life is soo cruel lol j/k)

And this was actually the same outfit I used for the picnic, just for a friend's birthday n_n; Lazy much...

Ash Grey hair?

Hi gals~ ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

Not much happening around here - only - I finally pulled myself together to buy that plane ticket to Japan! Wooo! (ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ Or actually... it's not so great right now since I'm more than broke.. But I guess you have to suffer a bit before you can experience the great stuff right? I still need to buy the plane ticket from Tokyo to Seoul, but I can't afford that before next month and the prices are kinda crazy right now, so i guess it's better to wait anyway!

I still need to buy some other things, but budget is tight so i have to stretch it as much as possible.. I just need to remind myself that I can buy a lot of more incredible stuff in Korea and Japan! （＿ー＿）

And to the topic of this post (sorry for being boooring XD) - I'm in the process of dying my hair since my roots began to get a bit too much.. Even my dad who hates the fact that I dye my "natural pretty black asian hair" commented on my roots and asked if it wasn't time to do something about it! I was shocked.. (O_O；) If your super conservative dad commented on your roots I guess it's time to dye your hair!

So I've been thinking about what I wanted to do. Obviously not the two-toned hair again. It was nice for a while but meh.. I'm kinda tired of the yellowish/orange tone I ALWAYS have (ノ´＿ゝ｀）ノ I prefer the more ashy/greyish matte tone which is what I want to achieve this time! Though.. the colors you can purchase in the Danish shops don't really satisfy my need.. I actually kinda had that color in part of my hair already once →

Anyways as always, I have to bleach the shit out of my hair before doing anything.. so right now I'm looking like the above while I'm thinking about what to do. You might think "it's not THAT bad" but I promise you it looks worse than on the picture! ヾ(*д*)ﾉ゛ I'll buy a *silver dye* tomorrow which will hopefully get the yellow tones out.

I want something like the above pictures ↑↑↑ I don't mind for a darker greyish color, as long as it's not yellow! But I bet it won't turn out anything like that lol! Well we'll see! (￣ｘ￣)


Oh yeah, and before I forget - last month, I bought my first long summer dress! And bonus - it was really cheap and pretty (you wouldn't dream of how cheap I am....)! That dress and necklace (+ a hoodie I needed) is actually the only things I've bought since the summer sale began last month. I must say I'm proud of myself haha! (゜∇ ゜)

*sigh* going to school in the summer isn't as bad as I thought, but still a bit tiring.. And I must say I'm a bit anxious about Japan.. I'll leave in mid-September and return in mid-December - just before Christmas! I hope I'll be able to meet a lot of people and get some new friends （人´∀`*） Otherwise it's a bit sad..... (。-_-。)/

Street Party ※ Outfits

In a skatepark - the ring of fire show

So most of this weekend I went to Distortion which is one of the biggest street parties in Denmark. It was my first time attending and it a lot of fun! The streets were so crowded with people partying and loud music played from every other side street. It lasted from Wednesday evening to Sunday morning basically, but I'm not that hardcore so I only attended Wedensday and Friday haha! It would start around 4-5ish in the afternoon with the street parties, and afterwards there would be after parties at certain clubs around 10-11 pm when the music on the streets had to be turned off. 

Well I think it was mostly fun in the afternoon since that's what I thought was special - otherwise I could just go clubbing at night.

Outfits

Soo.. some outfits from the past days.. I didn't get to take a picture on the original days, so that's why I have the same hair in all the pics lol..

I love how heels make your legs look sooo long ♥

 With the above outfit I originally added my long curly extensions and my straw hat (∩_∩)v

I LOVE these leggings! Soo shinee~ ☆ (in both ways :P) haha!

 And with this - long extensions + cap to finish off the badass look σ(ﾟｰ^*)

 It was sooo hot that day so I tried to wear something light and comfy (；≧∇≦) =3

And this is my fav summer up-do! High back-combed ponytail σ(^○^) It's super easy to make and looks refreshing. Add a bow or flower ! And sorry for the bangs, it looks kinda random I know, but I had to get rid of them in some way so i just squished them up to the side kinda.. pretty messy sorry!

Did you notice the new header? I'm not really satisfied with it but I got tired of the old one. I have to work on layout some other time.. Maybe I should ask Jeongie for help with her mad gio goi layout skillz! {*≧∀≦}
