5 Tips for Long Bangs

If you like me have long outgrown bangs, and don't really know what to do about it, here are some easy tips for inspiration!

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・° 1) Curl ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
A very common and easy trick!
Use a straightening or curling iron to curl your bangs. Depending on the length, you can sweep it a bit to the side.

It's a fast trick and gives a cute/sweet look (∩_∩)

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・° 2) Back Pin ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
Use some bobby pins to pin your bangs back. If you want more volume like the right picture, tease the inner/lower layers of your bangs before pinning it back, and make sure to brush the outer layer that will cover the inner teased layers so it doesn't look messy.

You can also twist the hair where you are securing the bobbi pins like this guy (miurashoheilololsoz), and you can also easy create more volume without teasing the hair this way as well.

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・° 3) Side brushed ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
Brushing the annoying bangs to the side seems like a pretty natural/common thing to do, but if you have straight smooth hair like me, it's just plain irritating to brush the hair to the side all-day since it just bounces right back in your eyes.

Tease your hair a bit at the roots and fix it with some spray to keep it in place. You can also secure it with some bobby pins to make sure it doesn't bounce back.

I usually separate the hair at the side, tease it a bit for volume and brush it over to one side. You can make the twists or small braids like corn-rows on your other side if you want, other wise just brush it back or secure it with a pin.

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・° 4) Fake side sweep ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
If you don't want your bangs at all but don't feel like showing too much forehead either, you can do the fake side sweep

Take a small section from your hair that's longer than your bangs, and gently cover your bangs/wrap your bangs in and secure it with a bobby pin.

If you don't wanna use the bobby pin, you can take a bigger section from your hair and sweep it to the side to cover your bangs completely. Here I curled my hair and fixed it with a bit of spray so it didn't fall back.

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・° 5) French Braid ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
Another easy way is to braid your hair in any design you like. But if you're like me and can't braid your own hair (lol), you might need an extra hand for this.

I divided the section of hair I wanted braided and made a French braid from the side. Mine ended in a small tail around the ear, and I pinned this back and brushed some hair over to cover it.

And that's it! I hope it was useful in some way (〃 ̄ω ̄〃ゞ
I tend to cut my bangs and then regret it and let it grow out for a while. But it becomes super annoying and I never know what to do with it, so usually I end up cutting it again after some time lol.

If you have bangs, how do you usually style it?
Do you prefer bangs or no bangs?
